Is it bad that I kind of love her outfit?

Love these old “girl” comics!! Back in the day DC used to care about getting females to buy their books (crazy, right?). Obviously girls don’t want to read about attractive men and women fighting each other, committing and solving crimes with plenty of sexy intrigue, right? They want to become domestic and get Ken doll husbands and make them sandwiches all day!

The result was a bunch of these silly love story comics. All of them pretty much sucked, they were in typical silver age format with three or four stories per book and each story was utterly shallow, retelling the same basic plot over and over. The characters often times unconvincing and/or bland. But they’re still funny looking back and seeing how Twilight they are. I might reread a few and post hilariously sexist pages later. Maybe even do some reviews. For great fem-justice.
