I had seen some of this as well. Tim Russ did talk about auditioning for LaForge (he played Tuvok on Voyager). Erik Menyuk would have really been an interesting choice as Data (Instead he played the traveler). I knew about Yaphet Kotto but not Wesley Snipes (that LaForge would have kicked ass and taken names). and Keiko auditioned for Yar? I don’t know how that would have worked.
Not listed in there is the fact that Frake’s friend Ron Perlman (80s Beauty and the Beast Series, Hellboy) auditioned for Riker.
