True to my late for every party nature, I FINALLY got around to watching STID. In fact, I’m watching it as we speak. And guess what. It sucks. It sucks ass. Any kind of excitement I felt over the first movie has evaporated like a pee puddle in the desert and all I’m left with is disgust over the whole charade.

While there are certain moments of sparkly brilliance from individual characters, the overall movie is a steaming pile of shit so far removed from the vision of Star Trek it might as well be a completely different franchise. 

That’s it. All I can hope for is fan shows now :/

(The first half hour of the movie had like five instances of Kirk being a womanizing, sleezy horndog. Really? Fucking really? FUCK YOU.)
