They never do say if it’s an automated distress call. They make a big fuss about the location of the Scalosian’s distress call and the fact that no one’s there but Uhura is just listening, no one’s talking to them

I like thinking of Spock breaking into a museum and looking at some paintings. Or did he just break into a random Scalosian’s apartment for their literature. What if he came out with the Scalosians’ equivalent of Bathroom Jokes Book or a Gary Larson book or Scalosian Shades of Gray?
