Irritated at someone who eats or breathes too loudly? This is called misophonia, a condition in which one is easily annoyed or angered by little things.

Counter point: some people legitimately chew really grossly and it’s ok to be displease with that.

Is talking with your mouth full part of this? Because that’s also really disgusting. This kind of stuff ANGERS ME SO MUCH.

I think everyone on the planet has this condition in some way shape or form.

What’s the name for the other side of this, when you become acutely aware of the noise you’re making by breathing or eating and worry that it’s really annoying the people around you? Once I ate a particularly crunchy and juicy apple in an almost deserted and hence very quiet cafeteria and I was just mortified.
Great apple, though, 10/10 for its apple qualities.

I cannot be near my roommate when he eats. there are noises no person should make when they eat. It’s more than just an apparent inability to breathe through his nose, there’s just….i can’t even describe it
