So, and this is remembering reviewer Tim Lynch’s old BBS posts about the episodes (I went through a spat of finding them and reading them 15-20 years ago) is that since S2 (or was it 3) basically there was a fan petition to give Chief O’Brien a first name, especially as he started appearing in more and more episodes. They gave him two: Miles Edward O’Brien :P

Last time my old man was aboard I found him chasing nurse Stanton around a biobed in sickbay.
Chief O’Brien, who needs to give me context for this
Ah from as early as Family we already know we’re going to follow the storyline of Worf’s discommodation.

IVE ASKED THIS SO MANY TIMES
What gender neutral for aunt or uncle
Nibling is a neologism from 1951 - not that it’s not a valid word, but a linguist called Samuel E. Martin deliberately made it up, rather than there having always been a gender-neutral word for niece/nephew that you just didn’t know until now. As for aunt/uncle, nonbinary.org suggests some possibilities of which my favourite is the analogous “pibling” - parent’s sibling.
"You have been terribly hard on yourself,"
"You don’t know, Robert. You don’t know. They took everything I was. They used me to kill and destroy. I couldn’t stop them. I should have been able to stop them. I tried. I tried so hard. But I wasn’t strong enough. I wasn’t strong enough. I should have been able to stop them!"
"So. My brother is a human being after all,"
aw wee little Rya'c
That damn floppy hat
I’m so glad there was this episode. Picard couldn’t just come out business as usual after his whole Locutus ordeal. And Robert is just fantastic.
