I think this is the first time that Mirror Uhura has a redemption ark. In every other version of the Mirrorverse she’s a staunch Kirk supporter

Mirrorverse intro.
Well this was an interesting one. Spock refuses to compromise an inch throughout. Although I’m still partial to Sorrows of Empire and what the novelverse has done with the Mirror Universe this was a good interpretation.
That’s it for Star Trek Continues for now, I’ve enjoyed what they’ve put out so far, maybe moreso than New Voyages. Both are good but Continues hit the ground running.
Oh and pay attention to the ship’s computer in this episode. Although they don’t do as much stunt casting as New Voyages this was pretty cool.
We’ve switched McCoys again
So does Christopher Doohan as Scotty but then, he is James Doohan’s son so there’s genetics at play here. His accent is pretty good too.
Goddamn but sometimes Vic Mignogna’s got the Kirk look down pat!
- What’s wrong?
- What’s wrong?! What’s wrong has pointed ears and a knack for insubordination.
Give ‘em those bedroom eyes
Fairest of Them All, the third and for now last episode from Star Trek Continues (it just got released a couple of weeks ago) shows us what happened when Mirror Kirk returned to his ship. I’m curious to see how they’ll do this. I’ve read several different versions including:
The 97 Marvel Comics one shot, where Spock and Kirk dance around the subject for a while then duke it out at the end. (I should re-read it, it’s been a while)
Sorrows of Empire, a novel from about 4-5 years ago which dealt with Spock rise to become Emperor, his first act was to kill Kirk right off the bat, he knew he wouldn’t change his mind.
The Mirror Universe Saga (1983-4ish) where Mirror Spock, when meeting our Kirk in the movie Era tells him he did “consider it” and then decided against it. best.
