listen I wasn’t going to write it bc I couldn’t think of an actual plot beyond “Black Sails x 20,000 Leagues AU” but then I realized 20,000 Leagues takes place in 1866 which is the same year they laid the first successful transatlantic telegraph cable after multiple failed attempts and that Leagues!Flint would absolutely have been responsible for those failures both by knocking out the cables and sinking the ships carrying them so long story short I’m 2k in with no sign of stopping
