The voyage of Star Trek: The Next Generation came to an end on this night in 1994. The two-hour “All Good Things…” remains one of the best TV finales I’ve ever seen.

And yes, I’m including the past segment of All Good Things, which is a functional mishmash of what they still had in storage from the first season and things kept for expediency’s sake (This version of Picard’s command chair doesn’t actually show up till season 2, every chair is reupholstered without the leather, the9 carpet/lighting, but the chairs are the recliners from S1 and the side panels are the faux wood from that season as well).
