The Man in the High Castle written by Philip K. Dick  is considered by many to be the first true Alternate History novel ever published (and it’s an oversight on my part for never having read it). Nazis win WWII and see life in America some twenty years after that. Amazon produced a pilot (which is going to series) starring Alexa Davalos, DJ Qualls, Luke Kleintank and Rufus Sewell among others. Ridley Scott is involved in producing this and Frank Spotnitz (X FIles, Millennium) wrote the teleplay).
