The Aston Martin Bulldog, styled by William Towns, is a British, one-off concept vehicle produced by Aston Martin in 1979. The code name for the project was DP K901. Initially, a production run of 15–25 cars was planned, but the project was deemed too costly and only one was built.
Aston Martin Bulldog, 1980. The Bulldog concept was designed by William Towns and was a mid-engined supercar designed to be capable of 200mph. However testing and development of the car were curtailed when Victor Gauntlett became chairman of AML in 1981. The one-off prototype is to be restored by Classic Motor Cars of Bridgnorth who will carry out an 18-month nut and bolt restoration after which the owner plans to run the Bulldog to the originally planned 200 mph.
