it’s honestly one of the best shows i’ve watched in a long time. great acting, excellent social commentary that doesn’t flinch away from acknowledging that basically everyone makes choices that harm others for their own personal gain by nature of the society they live in and their own biases, and a tight, well written fucking story. i get excited every time a character starts monologuing because i know i’m about to get my world absolutely rocked.

And there was reason in it, as the most compelling lies are comprised almost entirely of truth. But that’s what it does. It cloaks itself in whatever it must to move you to action. And the more you deny its presence, the more powerful it gets, and the more likely it is to consume you entirely without you ever knowing it was there.
