#BOROMIR
If anyone has ever wondered what Boromir was hiding under that snazzy red tunic, it was, as expected, a fine-ass bod.
Those shoulders.
And what’s that necklace he’s wearing?
'COME HERE AND HUG BOROMIR'
Ohhhh, wondering about necklaces can be a fool’s errand. I used to wonder about Miles’ necklace in LOST. It never came out of his shirt and it was an object of such mystery and intrigue to me. What was on that chain? A ring, a key, a symbol of beliefs, whaaaaaat? And then when the characters’ costumes were auctioned off after the show wrapped, the auction site showed detailed pictures of all the garments and accessories and IT WAS JUST A CHAIN WITH NOTHING ON IT. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY IT WAS EVEN PART OF HIS COSTUME.
I can only console myself by pretending it had something really significant and interesting on it, but Ken Leung took it off and kept it as a memento of the role.
It’s also quite possible that the chain there is just Sean Bean’s, and he said ‘Okay if I leave this on?’ and the costume people said ‘Sure, it doesn’t make any difference.’
Hug me or impale me with arrows, it makes no difference to me!
