Apollo & Starbuck destroy the Olympic Carrier
#BSG
I cannot fathom what the experience must have been like back on the night of March 4th 2007 when Maelstrom aired. When up until now the show had killed a few characters but really the only main character had been Billy. The whole hour is like, this is weird but they wouldn't kill Starbuck, right? Right?? Right??!!
Some of us knew they weren't going to keep her dead. They tried really hard, and did fake out a lot of people. But it was also like, "this smells off..." and the publicity around it, the way they didn't use the main titles for the following episodes but just had the cast credits, because redoing the credits would be too expensive... it was a good attempt but I never bought it.
As I recall, they also had Katee Sackhoff on Letterman to state categorically she was dead, wasn’t coming back. And the more they denied it…..

“Okay, okay. Me too.”
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA | 4x01 “He That Believeth In Me”
[mocking laughter intensifies]
1. Stargate Atlantis “First Strike” (2007)
2. Battlestar Galactica “The Plan” (2009)
3. Defiance “All Things Must Pass”(2014)
This is the unreleased version of “All Along the Watchtower” that we actually heard in “Crossroads, Part 2” the season 3 finale of BSG – as opposed to the album version released on the soundtrack!
It’s got a very long (1min30sec) lead-in sans lyrics and then at about 3min10sec the lyrics fade out again for when Lee first see’s Kara and the “It’s really me” conversation takes place.
IE: pretty sure this is the version I’ve wanted since I first heard it March 25, 2007!
