I think it’s really cool that Babylon 5 makes the media a big part of its universe. I can’t think of another sci-fi show that does this.
BSG shows some reporters, and I seem to remember The Expanse does too, but not in an integral role like B5.
I wish more shows did this. It gives an “outsider’s” perspective on the main characters and events. Makes you think “If I lived in this world, this is what I’d be watching about my favorite characters and events.”
It’s just…such a fascinating angle. What would I think about one of my favorite TV shows were I only watching ISN broadcasts?
