A bit depressing, as for some time it seemed to me that everyone I heard mentioning it seemed to be blaming the writers for it.

…Or everyone until I heard Patrick Stewart emphatically stand up for us at a Trek convention he’d stopped into in Birmingham. Then I felt a lot better. (And certainly the grumbling I’d been hearing there about “how the writers were messing up Trek with their strike” went all quiet after that..)
