Star Trek DS9: Things Past

airyairyquitecontrary

One of his most Ben Linus-y moments. Except Garak came first, so I suppose when Ben says and does things like this I should say they’re his Garak-y moments.

What would a dinner conversation between Garak and Ben look like

airyairyquitecontrary

oh my God it would be an endless gavotte of lies, half-truths, veiled threats and innuendoes

spockvarietyhour

over cereal. a long, deep and circular discussion about cereal and milk

Lost Bonus FeaturesMaking Up for Lost Time [x]

As we travel through the various time zones, looks have to be adjusted.

His ‘younger Ben’ hair was RIDICULOUS.
But I LOVED how this episode established that he had bluffed for Alex’s life before, against Widmore, and found that Widmore, shit though he was, wouldn’t actually directly kill a child.
THAT’S why he bluffed the way he did with Keamey, and why he was so aghast when it failed. Not just that his daughter, an innocent who he dearly loved, got shot in the head and killed, but that he couldn’t even rely on THAT about Widmore and his personnel any more.
