LOST: The Man From Tallahassee

This is one of my favourite episodes, and a BIG part of the reason why is my man Benjamin.

I mean, Ben is always a plus, that’s kinda a given. But he spends the whole episode with Locke, and the two of them together is the best thing ever. Their interaction is electrifying. And Ben is bedridden/wheelchair bound, and Locke comes in and holds him hostage at gunpoint in the middle of the night, and he thinks that means that he’s in control. But he isn’t, he never is, and I LOVE THAT. The entire thing plays out in Ben’s favour, and Ben just sits back and watches, and prompts, and plays his part, and Locke gives him everything he wants and he doesn’t even realise it until it’s done. 

I also find Ben especially beautiful to look at this episode. More pajamas, more often, I say. And my God, is he sassy. I mean, Ben has been a master of snark from the beginning, but he’s dialing it up to the next level here, and it’s glorious. 

And thus, this is a Ben Linus in The Man From Tallahassee Appreciation Post.
