Black Sails Sets: The Walrus Half Ship & Full Merchant Ships

The Walrus ship has been moved outside, on an area of hard concrete to complete construction. It's a sunny day with a bright blue sky. Outer timbers cover the majority of the structure, in an alternating diagonal pattern. Masts and rigging have been added to the structure. Workmen are on and around the ship, including one stepping into a cherry picker with a plank of wood.

Outer timbers are almost complete around the exterior of the Walrus. It has been placed outside on a sunny day with endless blue sky. Uneven ends of planks jut upwards, and have not yet been trimmed to a uniform length. There are two stories of 5 windows, through which the incomplete interior and sky can be seen.

A complete construction of the Walrus ship is is being painted outdoors on dry land, under a bright blue sky, with grassland in the background. Photo shows a view of the stern taken from the ground. The ship is currently a mixture of fresh timber and painted areas. The masts and rigging have been removed, presumably for the painting stage. The balcony and rounded door frames have been added around the exterior of the Captain's cabin, and the rudder to the base of the stern. A decorative carving has been mounted above the Captain's cabin, depicting two female figures sitting either side of a floor globe, surrounded by an ornate frame. The carving is painted gold with a black background.

The Walrus ship has been fully painted, and the masts and rigging have been reattached. Photo is taken from the ground, showing a view of the stern of the ship. Sets of scaffolding surround the stern, and a painter is working on the rudder. More decorative touches have been added, including female figures between each window, and on each bracket bracing the balcony. These details have been painted in gold, as well as the window frames. Sections of the starboard side have been painted in red, with a black hull and balcony, and section of exposed wood has been stained along the mid-section. Signs of weathering have started to be added.
