You know why you’re not afraid to die, Spock? You’re more afraid of living. Each day you stay alive is just one more day you might slip, and let your Human half peek out. That’s it, isn’t it? Insecurity. Why, you wouldn’t know what to do with a genuine, warm, decent feeling. Really, Doctor? I know. I’m worried about Jim, too.

Wait I know that car

I 110% believe Catwoman stole Captain Kirk’s car.
And before appearing on “Star Trek” and “Batman”, it was on “Bewitched” in the episode “Super Car”.

I don’t think it actually appeared in Star Trek - either William Shatner owned one or he just had his picture taken with it while in Captain Kirk costume, possibly because it was futuristic-looking and/or someone pointed out that it matched his wraparound beautifully.
Unless I’m completely blanking on a clearly awesome episode of Star Trek featuring this groovy car.
Yeah it was used as background material in Bread and Circuses including magazine advertising and newcasts (images via Memory Alpha):

Here’s a better image in Bewitched from the imdb page of the ep:

Again according to Memory Alpha: “The Jupiter 8 was in reality a custom aluminum show car called “The Reactor”, which was designed by Gene Winfield and completed in 1965. The Reactor was based on a 1956 Citroën DS chassis and powered by a Chevrolet Corvair engine. The hand-built car featured electronically-operated doors, hood and roof. It was painted metallic green. The car was toured around the United States at various car shows to display Winfield’s custom work abilities.”
“
Its fleeting appearance as the Jupiter 8, warranted the shooting of a number of publicity shots, published in several automobile magazines, with William Shatner in the guise of Captain James T. Kirk, posing with and in the car.“
Which does indeed explain this:

It also appeared in a 1968 Mission Impossible episode “The Freeze” and the Batman ep in question is “The Funny Feline Felonies“
Thank you very much for a thoroughly informative response! Wow, that car had quite an acting career (but, alas, it is not surprising that I didn’t remember it - when watching “Bread and Circuses” my focus is always on the costumes, and on McCoy and Spock’s conversation about worrying about Jim).
I watched the Mission Impossible it was in (a fakeout future to get someone to think the statute of limitations on a crime had run out - and it’s a lot more convoluted than I make it sound) and if it is in there, its glimpsed for half a second

I think that’s the one, none of the other 2 future cars come close.
