Fleet Admiral Cartwright: Senior Admiral based out of Sol Sector. Headed the Starfleet response in San Francisco during the Probe Crisis of 2286. In 2293 was involved in a conspiracy with members of Starfleet, the Klingon Defence Force and Romulus to precipitate a war between the Federation and the Klingon Empire following the destruction of Praxis. His role in the conspiracy was uncovered during the Kithomer Conference, where he was arrested. He is presently awaiting trial.
Admiral Cartwright appeared in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
