Ah, that’s a fair point. I sometimes wonder if I’m overly biased towards the show because I was only 10 or 11 when it aired, and it blew my mind that a cartoon could articulate my burgeoning idealogies so well. These days it definitely wouldn’t have the same impact. Just thinking of cartoons like Ren and Stimpy, and the Critic, or Mission Hill, it seems in general that the good bits are really good, but over time the rest falls by the wayside. And, as with so many things, it’s all about the moment of exposure. Am I still talking? Oh, no!
Mission Hill was O.K., obviously I was not part of the Daria crowd and Ren and Stimpy…it’s okay some really good moments but I again
