#Conundrum
Rewatched TNG’s Conundrum with @kiranerys and had some thoughts:
Children on the Enterprise: Oh those are child soldiers, the war is going very poorly. Who’s gonna know? That’s not my mom.
Barclay: full on swagger for 10 minutes until he learns his name and then he gets the full on depression and existential crisis. Sees a piece of broccoli and has a sworn nemesis.
Someone is definitely running the Dixon Hill program while this is going on and proceeds with the full on noir anmnesia detective tropes until after the episode is over and someone bothers to check the holodeck.
We made a Prime Directive whoopsie, sorry about your ship, your pods. uhhhh here’s some pods we can probably replicate that will reset the balance of power but we can’t replicate people. Hey you want this Macduff dude or should we take him home with us?

“So, if everything were back to the way it was supposed to be, what do you think you’d be doing right now?” “I’d be having more fun than searching the ship, I’d imagine.” “Fun?”

Enterprise vs. the Lysian military
That’s just wrong
Picard keeps undercutting Worf’s “command” by taking over the conversation whenever someone comes by
