Mass shooting

There’s been another mass shooting in Texas, at least 27 dead after someone opened fire in a church.

It baffles me as to why this is continuing to happen. It’s honestly absurd. We’ve become so desensitized to all of this, yet if you stop for a moment and think, This cannot keep happening. Politicians keep saying they will try and solve this, that they know how to fix this issue, but nothing is changing.

Let’s not send prayers, send emails and letters to your senators and mayors. Prayers aren’t going to change legislation. 

“the CIA is releasing tens of thousands of files and videos from bin laden’s compound today, except his DVDs of ‘home on the range’ and ‘ice age: dawn of the dinosaurs’ and his copy of final fantasy vii, because those are copyrighted” is not a sentence i ever thought i would type, but 2017 continues to be full of surprises

mike pence’s NFL stunt costed taxpayers $250,000+. keep in mind, Puerto Rico is still going through a crisis. I don’t get how people can say that America is a “superpower” when the government doesn’t even know how to use its money on problems that fucking matter

here are some other problems that money could’ve gone to:

-the flint water crisis

-homeless people

-education

-healthcare

-literally anything that doesn’t involve some rich politican’s plane ride to prove he doesn’t care about racial inequality

I need people to understand that the viral onion article that’s going around has been posted five times over the years, always verbatim except for the name of the city and number of dead.
