#DND
working on my ds9 dnd builds
i started these forever ago and never got around to posting them here, have been workshopping them a bit on my dnd twitter. i’m aiming these builds for level 10 as of now, will probably make actual character sheets once the semester is done.
- sisko - fighter 3 (battle master)/warlock 7 (the celestial). obviously the prophets are his patron. proficiency in cook’s utensil’s from student of war.
- kira - paladin 10 (oath of vengeance). because you know our favorite major is all about fighting the greater evil and meting out that sweet sweet smite damage.
- jadzia - wizard 10 (bladesinger). smart as fuck, but also likes to hit things with pointy things.
- odo - druid 2 (circle of the moon)/rogue 8 (inquisitive). just enough druid levels to get those sweet sweet cr 1 wildshapes, but the real focus is on his detective skills.
- worf - barbarian 5 (path of the ancestral guardian)/fighter 5 (battle master). wasn’t sure where to split the levels on this one but i definitely wanted him to have a mix of that klingon ferocity and his keen tactical mind.
- bashir - sorcerer 10 (divine soul). i know he should be a healer but let’s face it… our boy is not the cleric type. figured getting the gods to mess around with your kid is a good enough equivalent of genetic engineering maybe, and this way he still has healing spells.
- quark - rogue 4 (thief)/bard 6 (college of lore). not gonna lie, i seriously considered college of glamour for him but i decided having access to cutting words was more in line.
- o’brien - artificer 10 (gunsmith). this is the only one i am breaking my “no UA” rules for because they keep saying an official version will be released and otherwise there’s really nothing good for an engineer besides maybe a forge cleric.
i’m working on other characters as well… i’m very torn for garak, not sure if he should be an assassin rogue or college of whispers bard. honestly no idea yet about ezri, whether i should just make her a wizard with a different subclass or go completely different (she wouldn’t be bad as a cleric imo). jake is a child so let’s face it he’s probably level 3 at best by the end of the show.
three main parts of d&d culture are
1. *drops to 0hp* “I’m dead.” “You’re not dead yet”
2. rolling a bad perception roll and your dm is just like “you don’t have a fucking clue where you are. a room maybe?”
3. when the dm is narrating a scene for another character and your character isn’t even there so when you make a smartass comment about what’s happening the dm shouts “You’re not here”
DM: He grabs you by the collar of your shirt.
Fighter: I go in for the kiss.
what the…Pam Grier?
