Ok that’s different, but ti makes senses given that for a chunk of the book he’s alone in this so he needs someone to bounce off of.
The lead up to the hammer scene is fairly faithful to the book, with maybe a little descriptive on the running shits, but he still stops for the adult diapers, and he’s still late stopping Frank Dunning in killing his family (or part of it)
Josh Duhamel as Frank Dunning brings just hte right mixture of obnoxious, drunk and creepy to the character.

I’m still on the first ep of 11.22.63 (I took a 3hr nap) and I forgot that King was an unabashed Lost fan so he has fun with “course correction” or in this case having a car take out a phone booth when the main character is thinking of calling his dad and creating an even bigger paradox.
