Well if they were going to bring back Maul (which, killing him in Phantom Menace was a huge disservice imo), that was pretty much the way of doing it. Mother Talzin, their go-to mystic of that universe, was able to not only restore his sanity but replace his jumbled arachnid legs with more suitable android ones.
Sam Witwer does a decent job of voicing Maul.
He’s kind of insane which I guess being cut in half will do that to you.
