They’ve gotten a lot better at animating the Mutts. a lot better o.O
#Danny watches Mockingjay Pt. 2
Coin seemed much more reasonable in Pt. 1 than she did in the book (from what I remember). It could just be Julianne Moore’s great performance: this is someone you want to believe could restore a democracy while exhibiting the symptoms of a pragmatic leader. Pt. 2 tho shows her pretty much following the book’s script, the transisition isn’t necessarily organic but it works for the most part.
1. Here’s an example above of brutalism. usually a shit ton of concrete, little variation and kinda oppressive. It feels more like something you’d see in the former USSR or North Korea tbh.
2. That looks like the excess of the 70s (I’ll grant you maybe late 60s).
The Capitol’s aesthetics seem to be rooted both in brutalistic architecture and the 60s and 70s futurism
(stereotypical brooklyn contractor) So what you’re looking for is basically an apartment complex slash deathtrap. Yeah I can work that in for ya, but it’ll cost ya. Extras, we got extras, steel trap doors, hot oil, explosives. Now the machine guns are a good idea but I gotta get my service tech guys in at least once a month to service and oil them and check the mags.
Peeta NOoooo don’t////nooo
5 blocks….
I’m just imagining the face of the civil engineer that’s told to booby trap the city - just in case. Go nuts, here’s money, make things burn, get liquids out, have whole city blocks just open up.
(Peeta shows up on the battlefield)
Can we get him some oven mitts and some duct tape??
