I think the best way to describe Malcolm McDowell’s Michael Travis is that he has no guile. I was not expecting the adult breastfeeding scene.
So after escaping from the military complex (which blew up due to a mishap) he shambles along until he finds a church with food offerings for God. The lady there ( I think she’s the Vicar’s Wife) tells him it’s God’s food and offers her breast for nourishment (“Oh you’re just a boy!”). He is then fully nourished and sent on his way.
Actors have multiple roles in this film so I’m pretty sure she’s the same one he was fornicating with earlier in the movie, the sort of hostel housekeeper/companion.
Hmm whereas in Northern England he was treated to burlesque houses and housekeepers in his bed in Scotland he accidentally stumbles on a military facility with Space Stuff, interrogation and torture. Shoulda stayed in England.
