10 Caps from Peninsula (2020)
Peninsula’s got a very 28 Weeks Later (if comparing Train to Busan as 28 Days Later in that whatever’s happen has been normalized, minus the re-occupation as these zombies aren’t rage infected humans that eventually die)/ Doomsday (The 2008 Rhona Mitra movie not the DW ep which starts off as Get The Thing from the Infected Zone and quickly goes off the rails) and I am Legend (The overgrowth and some zombie rules) feel.
Don’t think it really adds anything to the genre but it’s a good pastiche, and i enjoyed.
I enjoy this movie’s lighting design and how it’s used to lure and draw away zombies.
Heh, because of course movie plot dictates that the woman whose pleas he ignored at the beginning would end up saving him 4 years later, I like the little reversal with “there were 30 cars I asked for help and none of them stopped, you weren’t any more or less special”
Half-time entertainment and zombie lure

There’s something funny about “Hop in” vs “Come with me”
