Alex Murphy may have been horribly burned in an explosion but thank god we saved his eyebrows!
Well this robocop is certainly streamlined, he’s not really lumbering he’s more…he moves more like those robots in Proyas’ A.I.
This Robocop (for now) retains the memories of Alex Murphy but combat mode is…well more old school and definitely scary.

Aaah we’re getting outfitted.
This version of Robocop’s trying to be more subtle and “modern message.” So Detroit isn’t quite the visual hellscape that it was in the original. But the US is fighting wars abroad with deployed ED-209 and those cyborg-sized EM-208s. THe Robocop program here is hoped to deploy him and the others in the US which Omni considers their largest untapped market. Murphy is killed bc of police corruption, policemen working with the big criminal head flooding guns in Detroit when his car is rigged with a bomb. His wife signs off on Omni giving him a “second life”
