Oh I’ll be adding a few strain related posts in a minute (still on s1), since I’ve been watching it at work (see unable to concentrate reading because too many people having conversations around me of late.)

One of the things that does feel unrealistic tho is the way the fall of social order is depicted. I know the internet and cell phones are down but it still feels false and I can’t quite put my finger on it

Finally our threads are starting to converge 

Ive slowly been Rewatching The Strain at work and ive reached the point where ive left off (occultatiom was the lastepisode i originally watched) and two things on For Services Rendered :

Although a tjroaway cameo it gives me great joy that  the lawyer - who played Kira Meru on DS9 - was married to BSGs Tyrol in this episode (she quickly munched on him)

The housekeeper’s americanized daughter - a nurse - was of course very stupid and skeptical 

Someone has it in for the Health Department
