I finally watched the three early walking dead web series that were released before the start of seasons 2, 3 and 4. They’re fine, nothing really groundbreaking but the flimsy connection to the main series is funny:

Torn Apart: The backstory of this gal:

The half-zombie from the premiere that Rick takes pity on.

Cold Storage: The flimsiest connection of all. Did you know Rick and Laurie had a storage locker in Atlanta?? me neither! Anyway some dude lives there and takes some of his clothes! Also some photo albums:

The third one, The Oath, gives us….the Guy who Wrote Don’t Dead Open Inside!:

And possibly the story of the Lime Green Sponsored Hyundai Tucson (please buy our post apoc Hyundai) from seasons 2-4, bc he was driving that one.

Anyway after that AMC seemed to cool it on web series for a bit, before coming back for Flight 462 for FtWD (which was fine iirc, tied in more to the main show as survivors from that flight would figure in season 2) and Red Machete for the main series (also a bit better than these). Finally Fear the Walking Dead had The Passage which was a better than all of these combined (trying to make it to Mexico via drug tunnel)
