@spockvarietyhour you were correct to observe that Donald Pleasance's tie is truly baffling. It SORT OF resembles a wine bottle with the large red rectangle as the label, which is appropriate since his character is a vintner, but then what's with all the wiggly wormy lines like Vecna vines? This is a very diabolical-looking tie. Very Satanic.

since the only fact I can remember about Donald Pleasance right now is that he played Dr Loomis in Halloween, I'm going to pretend this is a shot from a lost episode/film where Loomis and Columbo must team up to stop Michael Myers (Columbo's contribution is to figure out WHY HE GOES AROUND KILLING PEOPLE SO MUCH, which has always stumped Loomis other than "idk evil").

Jamie Lee Curtis still has to kill him, they're not that helpful. Columbo probably says something encouraging and nice to her, maybe gives her some raisins or half a candy bar to keep her energy up.
