Danny, I am thirty or forty years old. He/Him. Lots of Scifi and way too much media, too many gifs. Not a DW Rewatch Rewatch (S10), It's Not a Stargate Rewatch Rewatch (SGA S5). Vigil (S1). Various other media.

Doug Ford is attacking Liberal Arts and Humanities by making 60% of funding for post secondary schools dependent on ‘skills and job outcomes and economic and community impact’.

This is VERY VERY bad for Ontario.

Actively attempting to make sure liberal arts are squashed is actively trying make sure there is a less liberal, less socially conscious public. Business and (most of) STEM isn’t focused on humanity the way the liberal arts are. This is utter bullshit. What’s especially worrying is that political science is in that department, making politics increasingly inaccessible to any bit the privileged. This has far longer term ramifications than most people realize

Editorial | Doug Ford’s first acts as Ontario premier are worrisome
Ontario’s new premier has already backpedalled on important legislation on the environment, health, consumer protection and police accountability. It doesn’t sound like a “Government for the People.”
