In Star Trek: Enterprise, season 1 episode 8 (Breaking the Ice) Trip has a collection of drawings sent by his nephew’s class. Since there’s no way that the physical versions of the drawings got to Enterprise, they must have been scanned and sent digitally. Trip had a physical copy of them. This implies that somewhere on Enterprise, somewhere, they have a printer. 

It is also how I picture this bit from Encounter at Farpoint:

Now he might have meant “display” but he said printout, which to me just brings the image of a stack of continuous-feed printer somewhere on the Enterprise-D, or on every deck, or just one central printer and some harried crew member in a skant is turning them into leaflets for immediate distribution via a tube system.
