Hmmmmm. Cautious optimism. Westworld has turned out to be more good that bad, and moslty enjoyed this season. There’s literally no details on who/what/where is the focus so grain of salt.
no horror movie will top the part from monster factory: fallout 4 when griffin explains that he learned how to look up the index code for shaun, enters the “place at me” command, and switches to third person to see a spectral version of shaun standing behind pam with a vacant stare and all his teeth visible through his translucent flesh
the tension when griffin bolts miles away with all of pam’s godlike agility, hurtling clear over the rooftops in his panic, justin urging “run run run” in the bg only to stop. turn. and have specter shaun be inexplicably right behind him again is unparalleled by any work in the genre
i get chills when he tries to change shaun’s setscale and can’t in a game that allowed him to change a human npc into a functional vertibird
