More Fringe thoughts from this rewatch. They just fully retconned the circumstances of Olivia meeting William Bell from being transported while on an empty elevator after Nina Sharp failed to meet her for lunch at a fancy restaurant in New York City (very calm, very serene) during the S1 finale to, actually, she was in a car chase in the streets of New York and was pulled to the redverse just before she crashed, so we could do this cool effect of her bursting through the windshield hours later when she returned.
#Fringe Rewatch W Renae
Oh I forgot to put up David Robert Jones’ rather gruesome (first) death on Fringe. he was already being torn apart and remade and essentially couldn’t die by conventional means. A sudden collapse of a bridge to a parallel universe ended him.
It’s fine, it’s fiiiiine. Go back to bed Peter.
Fringe S02E02 “Night of Desirable Objects”
Savage, Walter. Savage.
Fringe “There’s More Than One of Everything”
I became convinced that if only I could cross over myself then I could take from there what I had lost here.
Fringe “There’s More Than One of Everything”
I certainly can’t think of any reasons, Fringe “The Road Not Taken”
The most unrealistic element of Fringe is the travel time between Boston/NYC/Philadelphia. everything feels down the street and evidence is always waiting for them fresh. there’s never any delayed flights, traffic jams, etc…
But this ep, Fracture, Astrid pulls up a filed report of an explosion at a Philadelphia train station (in reality a much smaller Vancouver location) and the gang leave Boston and arrive in Philadelphia and all the bodies are still in the station being processed out as of if it had just happened…
