This is one of those quotes that’s like “oh who said that? Thomas Hobbes? Shakespeare?” and no it’s Evil 90s Will Riker from Gargoyles

#i see this post every day but just in case you don’t here it is again#somebody pointed out that riker is ALSO from the 90s which makes this post embarrassing
nah you’re good, Riker first hit the airwaves in September 1987. He’s an 80s-90s hybrid but he’s still 80s enough where it counts.

Awhile ago we started a rewatch of 90′s favorite “Gargoyles”, and then an AAAANGEL of the NIIIIGHT, @ohpsshaw, threw some coin my way to have me run wild and draw some fanart.
I was a big fan as a sprout but never got to see most of the final season, so it’s been cool traipsing through it. Demona and Brooklyn were the most fun for me to draw.
Today’s Native/Indigenous Character in Media is Elisa Maza from Gargoyles Animated Series!
Elisa is half Hopi and half African American! She’s voiced by Salli Elise Richardson, who’s mother is African American and Native American. It is unsaid which Tribe.
Elisa was a huge role model for me when I was little.

That’s the face of a man who knows that you don’t need permits for laser guns if nobody knows that laser guns have been invented
