Tangerine Dream - Running out of Time - Miracle Mile Soundtrack
Can’t tell you why it works for me it just does.
Patton (1970)
The Book of Eli (2010) directed by the Hughes brothers
Very odd, what happens in a world without children’s voices.
This is the most underrated marvel movie of all time tbh.
I’m afraid it’s the frequency of the word ‘motherfucker’ that prevents it being perceived as part of the mainstream MCU (which feels it’s pulled off a neat trick if it gets the word ‘quim’ past the censors), but yesssssssssss.
You want to know what a good movie Blade is? Blade blew up our TV. Or maybe it was Blade II, but that doesn’t matter. My dad was watching it, and suddenly there was a kind of ‘WHOOMP!’ and the screen went dark and smoke began to pour of of the back of it with a terrible smell of burning plastic. (This was in the age of CRT TVs, big boxes, rather than the flat panel plasma and LCD TVs that are ubiquitous now, young ‘uns.) He was hugely excited, both because of the power of Blade (unless it was Blade II) and because he’d been lobbying for some time to buy a larger TV set and this was the perfect excuse.
Also, Blade II has Ron Perlman and the Cat from Red Dwarf.
That motherfucker there always made me think Wesley Snipes broke character for sec. His voice goes higher than anywhere else in the movie. Maybe that shot really did catch him by surprise
Last Night (1998), Canada
A group of very different individuals with different ideas of how to face the end come together as the world is expected to end in six hours at the turn of the century. imdb
I saw this film on Canadian tv some years ago. A low-key dark comedy drama, that shows a good variety of reactions in the situation. Nothing spectacular, only talking. Some characters are more interesting than others. If you can’t find it or are just curious, you can see the summary (with spoilers) on wikipedia.
