lmao thank you. The Dukat I enjoyed for almost 6 seasons of this show was a loser, and I would have liked him to stay a loser. I think he was more complex that way, too— he was a bad person in the way a lot of real-life people are. Turning him into a big bad main villain collabing with evil spirits and killing people with Force Lightning has flattened him out into something more cartoony and less compelling.

According to canon, Dukat once tried (and failed) to kill Garak.


It is my headcanon that these two events happened on the same night.
