It joins the pantheon of previously used weapons from a movie production acquired by the Stargate Franchise, including the hangun from Timecop:

and the shotgun from Blade Trinity

(both used by the Genii and various other Pegasus Galaxy inhabitants)

No longer must the citizens of Toronto fear sharp- dressed men in frock coats dubiously claiming to be members of the Prussian nobility, no doubt the work of some uncouth confidence man or somesuch chicanery.
