Finished Robert J. Sawyer’s Hybrids. kinda disappointing really. The first ¾ just sort of …exist. Feels like a definite step down from Homonids and Humans.
Are the stories wrapped up satisfactorily? I’d say for the most part yes, it just doesn’t quite pack the punch the other two did. plus parsing out a presidential speech on top of each chapter (and they’re small chapters) as an attempt at thematic unity just doesn’t work here. I did enjoy the Dick Clark scene towards the end tho.
