So one thing I notice watching Buffy is that a Vampire’s toughness and overall threat level are proportional to their fashion sense. So if they’re dressed in a hoodie or the clothes they were buried in, they’ll probably be dead before the end of the scene, but if they’re wearing a leather jacket, or a Victorian gown, or a dominatrix costume, they’re probably a major villain.

Harmony had nothing but fashion sense and she managed to survive all of the way to the end of Angel.
