I had something more serious planned for today, but I had to recognize this line for making me laugh out loud during one of the most tense sequences in the show. It’s a brilliant scene already, with Hickey’s unhinged monologue and the mutineer’s dawning sense of horror, and Crozier’s deadpan reaction cuts the tension in just the right way. 

Don’t forget we also had flashbacks earlier to the real Hickey signing up, a fresh faced boy and then our Hickey showing up later, the recruiter not recognizing this guy and he just tells him “Oh yeah, I grew this beard in anticipation of the journey.”
