A few months back I’d caught Tango & Cash on a local channel. I hadn’t seen it in ages. The final confrontation between Jack Palance and the duo raises interesting questions. 

So Jack Palance, this mastermind criminal buys his derelict army base, staffs it, gets some awesome monster trucks and all that. But in the middle of the lair he decides to built either an escape hatch or a panic room that doubles…as a hall of mirrors. Who builts a hall of mirrors in the middle of a secret army base/lair? what’s the point of it? Is he a peacock strutting his feathers? Is he in the porn business and shooting a video there? there’s not even a bed there? Is it a panic room that just has mirrors? what is the point of this bolt-hole of mirrors?! it boggles the mind.

“Alright the bossman’s ordered a bunch of trucks to be converted into monster trucks, make sure they got police sirens. Big construction rigs. Oh everyone gets 2 sidearms. and 10,000 mirrors…what are we doing with 10,000 mirrors?”
