Sealing your own doom

Mrs Skinner: We discovered (what bubbled out of the ground) wasn’t oil (the fact that it’s white should be a dead giveaway) so with nothing to do with it Mr. Skinner decided to feed it to the chickens.

Scientist: And the Chickens ate it like that?

Mrs Skinner: Oh no, nothing would eat it, until we mixed it with the chicken feed.
