has anyone ever watched buckaroo banzai across the 8th dimension in one sitting while completely giving it their undivided attention i feel like anyone who says they have is lying because this is my third watch through and i tried but i still missed like 40 whole minutes by just sheer distraction

Ppl are reblogging confirming this is a mutual experience and I feel like we’re all taking a communitive sigh of relief as finally we can stop pretending we comprehended or fully enjoyed buckaroo banzai even though we adore Peter Weller is his cute ass bow tie/ glasses combo, Jeff Goldblum in that cowboy get up, or even John Lithgow looking like Danny Elfman in the Private Life music video for some reason. a weight has been lifted off our shoulders we don’t have to pretend any more.

I’ve tried watching it twice now and have never been able to finish it, even tho Peter Weller is basically a rockstar god in this.
