I think the best way to describe Malcolm McDowell’s Michael Travis is that he has no guile. Oh he’ll certainly take opportunities that are presented to him and has occasional lofty aspirations but mostly he’ll go with the flow and wherever that takes him, whether is P.A. to Sir James or volunteering for some medical experiments to selling coffee or giving soup to the poor….
