i was trying to identify this mushroom in our yard and wikipedia redirected me to the chubbiest fucking mushroom ive ever seen and theres like 2 sentences of explanation to accompany this image and im loosing my mind

its name means “sensitive mushroom” which just kind of deepens its mystery.
